It’s intriguing that a 3 dimensional object actually begins as a 2 dimensional piece. There’s a resist that sits in between the two flat sides of the object that stops the fibres joining together, as wool fibre will do in the felting process. However once a reasonable degree of felting is attained the magic of a seamless creation begins: to create a vessel, be it for the head or as a decorative item for the home. It’s an engineered architectural textile wonder!
